Jackson Duncan

Coach Jackson is a USA Cycling Coach, Certified Body Geometry and Retül bike fitter, Cat 1 racer for Team Mikes Bikes p/b Equator Coffee and former professional cyclist with the UCI Continental Team Illuminate. He is passionate about helping cyclists achieve their goals and find joy on the bike. His coaching style balances both method and mindset that challenges the rider to overcome physical and mental barriers.

Coach Jackson fell in love with cycling while working at a bike and ski shop in the Seattle area. As he began racing his bike, he transitioned roles at work from ski sales to bike fitting with training from Dr. Andy Pruitt.

He hired a coach who was also a local pro rider and began to train seriously. Still divided between mountain biking, cyclocross and road racing, Jackson studied the training and racing demands of each and found the most success on the road. Receiving coaching early in his career taught him how to train and race strategically.

In the Summer of 2017, he moved from Seattle to Santa Rosa to chase his dream of racing in the pro peloton. He competed in professional road races all over the globe with Continental Professional team Team Illuminate. Coach Jackson is continually studying modern training methods while enrolled in Sonoma State University. He enjoys working with athletes of all ability levels.

Adrian Bennett

After discovering the transportation potential of the bicycle as a high school student, Adrian quickly fell down the wormhole of cycling. Initially excited by the high-speed shenanigans of riding fixed gears on the street, he quickly progressed to a fascination with ultra-endurance.

Before his 18th birthday, Adrian had completed a Super Randonneur Series (200k, 300k, 400k, and 600k rides) with the San Francisco Randonneurs. Upgrading from his 1969 Raleigh to a steel frame he designed and welded himself, Adrian began racing on the road in 2013. In five years of dedicated work, he was able to progress to Category 2 on the road after some good showings in road races and stage races in the Pacific Northwest.

Adrian’s time as a bike racer was shortened by a heart valve condition he was advised to not push too hard. He now channels his passion for high-performance cycling into his coaching practice.

Adrian’s body of work as a bike racer, in the power meter industry, as a mechanic, and as an ultra-endurance cyclist help him support the many and varied needs of athletes he works with. A compassionate listener with a systematic troubleshooting approach, Adrian can help clients identify physical and mental limitations and suggest ways to move beyond them.

Adrian has been a cycling coach since 2018. In that time, he has helped elite road racers find success. He has coached riders in preparation for events like the Unbound Gravel race, the Day Across Minnesota, Lon Haldeman and Susan Notorangelo’s PacTour events, cross country mountain bike racing, cyclocross, and ultra-distance cycling events on and off-road. He has experience supporting clients of all ages and ability levels.

Sean Bennett

Sean’s passion for the bike started on a mountain bike in high school and took him to the highest level in the sport; competing professionally from 2015 - 2022. This included three years competing on the World Tour and rubbing elbows (literally) with the world’s best riders, highlighted with finishes at two Grand Tours; the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia.

As Sean’s cycling career progressed from the junior ranks to the World Tour stage, so did his desire to learn and understand how to maximize his performance and achieve his best. In addition to following the guidance of his coaches, he often found himself observing the strategies and techniques of those finishing in front him. Consequently, he also identified common habits and behaviors that negatively impacted a riders ability to reach their potential such as inconsistent communication with a coach and improper fueling during training. Applying those same skills and lessons to his training and racing, this method proved effective and one he considers a major factor to his success.

Having experienced the highs and lows of professional cycling , Sean finds true joy in helping riders navigate every aspect required to reach their full potential. Although his knowledge and experience as a rider is unparalleled, this is rivaled by his demeanor and compassion as a coach.
