MORE INFOThe cycling/sporting accomplishment I’m most proud of is winning the crit at the Chico Stage Race this past year was an awesome feeling.
MORE INFOMy favorite part of being an Achieve athlete is getting feedback and knowing I’m supported. I get to just follow the plan and work hard. It’s taken away the stress of not knowing if I’m doing it enough/right/etc., which frees up my mental energy.
MORE INFOMy favourite bike is: My Specialized Ruby is my favorite bike because it is super responsive on descents, has disc breaks so I always feel extra confident; only weighs 17 lbs and is fast, and because it is the best bike I own.
MORE INFOMy favorite bike is my Focus cyclocross bike because I bought it from Jeremy Powers. It constantly reminds me of what he represents–someone who has achieved next-level greatness while remaining an incredibly kind as a person. It’s also super intimidating, because I constantly feel like I don’t deserve to throw my leg over a bike he used to ride.
MORE INFOMy goals for the upcoming season include: Improve my endurance and climbing abilities. Bike up Mt Haleakala in June 2017. Ride and finish 100 mile/9k ft Gran Fondo in Sept 2017.
