July 2015
10 victories this season in single speed A including District Champion, and a top 5 in my first geared series. Nationals here we come.
Having structure and someone keeping me focused through a season that goes through the holidays. The mental aspect is just as important as the physical and a full season of racing can present a lot of set-backs and unexpected challenges. I share those with Ryan and he reminds me of my longer term goals and helps me come up with a plan to stay on target.
I’m competitive. I love leaving everything out there.
To date it’s my single speed belt drive Rock Lobster cx. It was my first custom bike and what I’ve had the most race success on. I have more miles (6,500 and counting) than any other bike.
Winning the state single speed championship twice is my biggest accomplishment for cycling. Last year I won every series I raced in my category and moving up 60 spots at Nationals was definitely a highlight.
My Boston Terrier. She’s got the life.
I grew up in a pizzeria.
I was in tap dance, batton, and gymastics as a child.
I road the entire 2014 Tour de France route.
This season I hope to win at least one big travel race, targeting Cross Vegas.
I want to finish in the top 10 at Nationals.
I want to repeat as state champion.
I want to consistently improve my results and performance over the season.
I want to win districts.
