N/A – but I heard you are an awesome person which makes things more exciting

The aspect I like most about cycling and/or racing is:

Cycling gives me freedom. When I am on the bike, rolling over Marin County, I feel closer to mother nature and it makes me feel good, even when climbing hard.
Racing gives me that ‘competition’ satisfaction that I have been chasing all my life. I have been an athlete since I was a kid, played professional volleyball until my early 20’s (when I had a back injury) and my thirst of competing on something has never vanished.

My favourite bike is:

Although i don’t own one, it’s the Pinarello Dogma. It has the best handling I have ever experienced. And Pinarello is also based in Treviso, the city where I grew up. My parents both ride Dogmas, and when you are out there, you can’t ride anything else but a Pinarello…

The cycling/sporting accomplishment I’m most proud of is:

Outside cycling, I had the privilege to play several Iitalian Premiership Volleyball Championships. I also have the regret of never being able to win one, and always finishing on the second step of the podium. My best cycling accomplishment was to win Bariani Road Race in 2014, my 3rd race ever.

If I could be one animal I would be a:

A wolf – I am not a social/people person and tend to stay isolated or with the people I already know.

Of the following three facts, two are true and one is false:

I make the best Tiramisu in the world.
I shave my legs.
I speak 5 languages.

My goals for the 2014 season include:

1 – get to Cat 3 by end of 2015 season – I upgraded to cat 4 three weeks ago
2 – Improve my threshold power up to 350W by end of March.
3 – Win at least one cat4 race in 2015
4 – Four to five top-3 finishes in 2015
5 – Improve my climbing ability, especially on 20+ minutes climbing efforts. However, given how the majority of the RR are in Cali, I understand that putting more focus over those 5 minutes and 10 minutes climbing efforts may be more appropriate.
