Achieve Athletes

Jesse Lash

Currently live in:

San Francisco, CA

Achieve athlete since:

August 2015

Top accomplishments and/or results since being an Achieve athlete are:

Winning the 2015 Giro di San Francisco in Cat 4

The best part about being an Achieve athlete is:

Access to a coach that knows exactly what races I’ll be doing as well as where my body and head are at, and how exactly to prep me for success in those races.

The aspect I like most about cycling and/or racing is:

The freedom a bike gives you, and I love competing.

My favourite bike is:

Whatever I’m on at the time. I have track, road, cyclocross, and mountain bikes and love riding all of them.

The cycling/sporting accomplishment I’m most proud of is:

Finishing 2nd in the circuit race and 5th in the road race at the 2015 Sea Otter Classic, the first weekend racing for Dolce Vita Freewheel.

And a rogue season I had playing hockey when I was 12. Our team entered 16 tournaments, and played in the championship game in 15 of them. Won half the championship games we entered. Won 4 national championships and a Junior Olympic Gold Medal. Crazy year!

If I could be one animal I would be a:

A tiger. Growing up, my mom always told me to “go get em, Tiger!”

Of the following three facts, two are true and one is false:

I have had a decent cup of coffee at Starbucks.
I have broken my right arm more than 3 times.
I am extremely allergic to seltzer water.

My goals for the 2014 season include:

Win a Cat 4 road race.
Cat 3 on road by 3/31/16.
Cat 3 on track by 5/31/16.
Win a Cat 3 crit.
Podium at State Elite Track Championships.
