We are just getting going…
Riding bikes has given me the opportunity to see things that most people never have the opportunity to see; countless sunrises rising over the headlands, sunsets falling over the pacific, fog slipping through trees. It is a source of both pure adrenaline and pure serenity, of both competition and mellow time with friends……lucky us.
My single speed Pivot Les. It is an amazingly capable mountain bike. It goes like crazy going up hill and rips going down. It’s also really pretty.
Just consistently staying on the bike over the last number of years, even when life gets lifey. I’ve averaged over 1,000 ft a day of climbing for a good number of years, almost all on dirt and often on a single speed.
Mountain Lion – The King of Mt Tam!
I spent a summer working as a butler in Northern Scotland, wearing a kilt to work every day.
I lived out of the back of a car/tent for almost a year.
I can dunk.
1. My #1 goal is to just be stronger/faster and with better endurance.
2. Podium in Sport MTB Race this season
3. Stop cramping in races.
4. Get more comfortable in packs/groups on road bike
