Top accomplishments and/or results since being an Achieve athlete are:

12 x top 3 podiums and 3 wins in less than 18 months; Oh… And a 21 pound granite trophy for winning Tour de Nez – that’s pretty darn cool!!!

The best part about being an Achieve athlete is:

Dana does more than just give me workouts. He makes sure I am training specifically for the kinds of races I want to do (crits only, please!) and am mentally prepared; has experience and a breadth of knowledge about the courses that gives me confidence going into a race; and helps me see the “big picture” so I don’t get tripped up by the little things and small set-backs. Most importantly, he encourages me and helps me to achieve things I would have never thought possible. .

The aspect I like most about cycling and/or racing is:

I get hyper focused when I’m in a group going fast. I feel elation and excitement and pure joy (even when it’s painful) when I’m out on the bike.

My favourite bike is:

My BMC … I feel “flow” when we are together and it feels like a natural extension of myself.

The cycling/sporting accomplishment I’m most proud of is:

Never getting pulled out of a race by the referee or… finishing every race I start.

If I could be one animal I would be a:

Seahorse. They are unusual, elegant and unique.

Of the following three facts, two are true and one is false:

I used to live on a 100 acre ranch with pigs, cattle, chickens, quail, horses and one pug.
I collect records.
I worked at the mandarin oriental hotel in Bangkok.

My goals for the season include:

– to finish first in the W3 Fall points series
– cat 2 upgrade
